There are usually not many birds in the lagoon, but among the few birds there are often exciting species that can be observed from a short distance. For example мал свиркач in autumn. At Schillighafen, many birds can be observed from a good distance at the high water rest area. Further to the west, the foreland becomes so wide that observation conditions deteriorate.
