Description
The nature reserve of Rümlandteich und Methorstteich is a beautiful area to observe water and forest bird species. You can make larger and smaller walks via hiking trails. Both ponds are drained temporarily (especially in autumn/winter) and then offer particularly interesting observation opportunities (wading birds, wintering карпеста трепетилка). белоопашест орел breed here and can be observed regularly. голем воден бик occasionally call in the reed belt of the Rümlandteich. Small forest parking lot near Diekendörn. Click on the P in the map for directions. There is also an information board with the hiking trails here. The best way to explore the area is on foot or by bike. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
