NSG Dorneywald is an important refuge for wildlife and a rewarding destination for anyone interested in observing forest birds in and around Dortmund. NSG Dorneywald lies on the southwestern edge of Dortmund. You can park all around the forest, for example near the footballfield. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking. The circular walking route suggested on the map is about 4 km.
