Description
Kiesseen Prettin is a body of water of 112 hectare located on the Elbe River near Prettin. Characteristic are the shoals and the sandbanks, some of which lie in the middle of the water. Almost 50 breeding bird species are known on the site. The waterfowl include црвеноклун лебед and црна лиска. The vertical bank walls are inhabited by брегова ластовичка, and остригар breeds on the gravelly flat banks. трскар рогозар, блатен трскар and Мочварна овесарка live in the reed beds, while славејче and сипка торбарка live in the damp wood along the banks.
