The Hemmelsdorfer See is a lake that has many different water birds, depending on the time of year. Breeding birds include црвеноклун лебед, сива патка, црна лиска and цуцулест нуркач. Other birds that are observerd regularly are рибарче, белоопашест орел, блатна еја, трскар рогозар, обичен трскар, Синогушка and мустаклеста сипка. During migration you can observe birds like мал галеб, орел рибар, црна рибарка and црвеноглав кожувар.
Coolest one I've seen were бел нуркач in winter and I heard саријазма in the trees in summer. The boardwalk goes out into the lake and along the reeds. Also great spot for landscape photography.
