The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of мал нуркач , 1-2 pairs of црноврат нуркач and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of црвеноврат нуркач. Occasionally, цуцулест нуркач also breed. In addition to Дива патка and црвеноклун лебед, цуцулест кожувар, црвеноглав кожувар and сива патка are at home here.
