The 1,500 hectare wilderness area of Anklamer Stadtbruch is home to numerous nice species such as белоопашест орел, сив жерав, Common Rosefinch, белобрада рибарка, Речен цвркотник and голем воден бик. In summer you can still find large numbers of сив жерав. Also all kinds of raptors are common like црвена луња, орел рибар, црна луња, блатна еја and сокол ластовичар.
