Description
At the river Ahr are breeding мал пескар and рибарче. In the floodplains are meadows, forests and a little reedbed. In the meadows are breeding кукумјавка (10 territories in 2020). обично страче and полски трскар are possible breeding birds. In the forests are breeding славејче , саријазма and среден клукајдрвец. You can also see црна луња and сокол ластовичар during breeding time. In the little reedbed are трскар рогозар and блатен трскар (also common next to the Ahr). Краткокрил вољич and жолто гушанче can also be found in the area.
During migration, you can see migratory birds like орел рибар and шарена тринга. In winter you can see some wintering birds like воден ќос.

Access
There is a train station in Linz (direct connections to Cologne and Koblenz), from where you have to cross the Rhine with the ferry to Kripp. Another train station is in Sinzig (direct connections to Bonn and Koblenz) from where you can go directly to the meadows at the southern edge of the area.
You can park in Kripp (follow the B9 until Kripp). The walking route you see on the map is about 7 km.
