Description
You will reach the monument on your drive from Tblisi to Kazbegi, a few kilometers before the Jvari pass. It is a tourist attraction with car park and people selling food and memorabilia. There is a large observation platform and a smaller one near the car park. Look up for migrating birds like осојад, краткопрст јастреб, црна луња or local златен орел, голема пиштарка or гавран. On the rocks below you can see species like црвеноклуна галка, жолтоклуна галка, алпско попче, карполазач and белограден ќос. Check the grassland for карпеста трепетилка and Red-fronted Serin.
