Description
Réserve Naturelle Régionale de l'étang d'Amel is an important wetland. The pond is surrounded by a large reed belt (approximately 50 hectares). There are also meadows with hedges. More than 100 bird species live here or make a stop during migration. The site is also a hotspot for dragonflies (40 species). Access
There is a car park on the northwest of the site, on the village side of Senon. An 8 km trail runs around the site. There are two observatories. Respect the regulations and private property while staying on the trail. Reserved parking for people with disabilities, near the observatory near Senon.
