Description

Parc de la Lère covers about 55 hectares and is a protected natural area that combines lakes, woodlands, and meadows. It was designed both as a leisure destination and as a site for preserving local biodiversity. Birds you can observe include голем корморан, сива чапја, голема бела чапја, мала бела чапја, чапја говедарка, цуцулест нуркач, рибарче and a variety of geese, ducks and songbirds. It is a pleasant birding stop if you're passing through the area.

Français: Petit parc sympathique en accès libre et gratuit, observation très simple d'une bonne variété d'oiseaux, sans difficulté majeure pour accéder aux spots. Observation quasiment sûre de Cormoran, oies sauvages/ apprivoisées, une grand quantité de passereaux divers et variés. Héron cendré, grande aigrette, aigrette garzette, Martin pêcheur, héron garde boeuf, grèbe huppée, etc. Sympathique si vous etes de passage dans la région.

Access

Parc de la Lère is located in Monteils, near Caussade in the Tarn-et-Garonne department of Occitanie. The park lies just off the D926E road between Caussade and Monteils, with parking available on-site. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Access is only on foot; bicycles are also allowed. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 2,5 km.
