Description

Mont Caroux represents the eastern limit of the Espinouse mountains. There is a rich forestry area where you can have a chance to see вртивратка, Краткокрил вољич, Планински пејач and Обичен (Шумски) лазач. There are also areas of heath which are home to обично страче, црна луња and белоглав мршојадец. And look out for златен орел. More than 10 pairs breed in the area. Although visible all year round, this large raptor preferably performs acrobatic courtship displays in January and February. Other interesting birds you can see in the area are орел змијар, карпест дрозд, модар дрозд, ќук, мало црноглаво грмушарче жолтоглаво кралче and планинска стрнарка. In winter you have a chance to see карполазач, алпско попче and снежна ѕвингалка in the area.
