Description
The Montbartoux campsite is located at 650 meters altitude in the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park. It's in the heart of the Puy de Dôme in Auvergne. At pitch 37, you're next to a pond where a pair of сиво муварче lives, and I think they also breed. There's also a water vole. It's nice to drink your morning coffee with a view of spotted flycatchers at 10-15 meters. The campsite has a superb panorama of the Auvergne mountains and an impressive sunset in those same mountains. There are also many butterflies, including the swallowtail and the glassy-winged hawk-moth. A very nice place to stop if you're in the area.

Access
Camping Le Montbartoux is nestled in the heart of the Auvergne region, near Vollore-Ville in France’s Puy-de-Dôme department. Press P on the map for directions. I recommend spot 37. From there, you're close to the сиво муварче. Good for a night or even more, as this is a good campsite and a beautiful area. A lovely 8-12 km walk can be found on Komoot. Don't expect too much other birds at the pond; it's a fishing pond.

This is simply a lovely campsite with good pitches, a swimming pool, and a playground. Otherwise, it's okay, even though it's small and quiet, and has a family-friendly feel. So, it's easily marketable to your non-bird-watching family as a side trip. A wooded area with plenty of hiking trails is just a few kilometers away, a town with classical music concerts, and a lake with a beach and pedalos are 20 minutes away (рибарче and жолтарче are found nearby).
