Description
Gravière de Fleurville is interesting for migratory birds and especially passerines. It is a good site to observe сипка торбарка, Мочварна овесарка but also штрк. In the immediate vicinity of the gravel pit there is a large island in the Saône which is home to a mixed colony of herons composed of чапја говедарка, мала бела чапја and ноќна чапја.

Français: Le site est une ancienne gravière située au bord de la Saône et aujourd'hui réabilité en plan d'eau de loisirs. Le plan d'eau est surtout intéressant pour les oiseaux migrateurs et notamment les passereaux. C'est un bon site pour observer la сипка торбарка, le Мочварна овесарка mais aussi la штрк. À proximité immédiate de la gravière on trouve une grande île sur la Saône qui abrite une colonie mixte d'ardéidés composée d' чапја говедарка, мала бела чапја et ноќна чапја.

You can access the site by the D906 but also by the towpath which passes through the port of Brouard. Click on the P in the map for directions. The walk indicated on the map is about 2,5 km one way.
