Uutela park has different forest types, marshes, rocks and shorelines within it. There's a lot of variety in bird species and it's a nice place to visit all year round. In spring and early summer it's possible to see and hear all kinds of singing birds: жолто гушанче , обичен свиркач , брезов свиркач , кукавица , Blyth's Reed Warbler , шумска трепетилка , обично грмушарче , Lesser Whitethroat , шумски свиркач, црвеногушка , обична ѕвингалка, црноглаво муварче , сиво муварче , црвеногушесто муварче , Голема сипка , сина сипка , елова сипка , ливадска трепетилка , црноглаво грмушарче. You can spot migrating species as well. Thanks to the close proximity of the sea it's possible to spot a wide variety of both local and migrating sea birds by the shore too: жолтоклун лебед , црвеноклун лебед ,голем северен нуркач , среден северен нуркач ,цуцулест кожувар , четириока патка , долгоопашеста патка ,Common Eider , Дива патка , речна тринга , Barnacle Goose , Canada Goose and сива чапја.
The Uutela communal gardens located at the heart of the park is also a great spot for seeing birds. (Check out the gardens' own page on Birdingplaces for more details!) There are three active bird feeding spots in the park during winter time. Some have bird food all year round but they're especially nice in winter. The more common Голема сипка , сина сипка , елова сипка , домашно врапче and полско врапче are almost always present but if you're lucky you might spot цуцулеста сипка , планинска сипка and жолтоглаво кралче on them too. Обичен (Шумски) лазач has been seen visiting one of the feeding spots during the summer too.
жолтоглаво кралче is a common even if sometimes hard to see species in the park all around the year. ќос can also be seen almost all year round. During the autumn migration seasons it's also possible to see свиларка too.
There are two parking places in the area. The park is best explored by walking. It is also possible to cycle in the forest. The main paths are wide and maintained and are therefore suitable for wheelchair users as well. Please be mindful of where you walk and cycle, though, as there are nature reserve areas that should be protected.
