The former sand pit Pískovna Dobříň is an interesting site for birdwatching. Sand is not mined here now. The lake complex is interesting especially during migration in spring and autumn. It is also an important regional wintering ground. Birds that can be spotted include дива гуска, патка превез, црвеноглав кожувар, речна чигра, мал пескар, езерски галеб, касписки галеб, славејче, обичен трскар, саријазма, блатна еја and брегова ластовичка. In winter you can observe четириока патка and голем северен нуркач.

Pískovna Dobříň is located directly east of the village of Dobříň. You can park on the embankment or walk from Dobříň train station (1).
