Description
There have been recorded more than 250 birds species. It is a nesting site of the in Silesia rare мустаклеста сипка and there are nesting some other rare birds like Мал воден бик , Синогушка and Common Rosefinch. It is also a popular bird stop during migration time. In Spring you can see there for example обично камењарче , штурче трскарче , медитерански галеб , орел рибар and sometimes even воден трскар and тенкоклун трскар.
During the Autumn migration you can see many species of waders like обичен свиркач , бојник , мал свиркач , белокрстен свиркач , црна тринга , шумска тринга and some other. Also you can observe дамчеста барска кокошка or барска кокошка.
In Winter it is an ideal place for watching мустаклеста сипка and if you are lucky you can see wintering голем воден бик or нордиско конопјарче .
Various bird rarities were also recorded here: Red-necked Phalarope , камењарче , Terek Sandpiper , црноопашна блатарка , Red Knot , голем црноглав галеб , тенкоклуна чигра , Arctic Tern , Пештерска (Црвенкаста) ластовица , степска еја , Sabine's Gull , воден трскар , тенкоклун трскар and many others.

Access
The location is inaccessible by car, so it is best to park somewhere in Ostrava and walk to the location or go by bus. I recommend a walk along the western side of the pond. You can make a circle around, but if you want to see some reed birds, it is best to wait near the reeds or go on one of the fishing bridges (but be careful, it can be dangerous).
