The Retencija Blato ticklist is 216 species (see link below). There is an island/peninsula which is a popular bird roost Species seen include Common Rosefinch, жолтарче, шумска чучулига, полско врапче, морски кожувар, сабјарка, вртивратка, пчеларка, црвена чапја, црн кожувар, степска еја and блатна еја. Note: As of 2022 the website says 'temporarily closed'. Unclear if this applies only to fishing, or all visitors.
