A pond in the town of Tofield with considerable numbers of visiting birds. Tofield is known for holding the annual Snow Goose Festival towards the end of April.
Llama Farm is a pond with considerable numbers of visiting birds. Franklin's Gulls can be seen in large numbers often on the water surface and swarming in the air with occasional Swainson's Hawks. Various species of Blackbirds can be seen in the reedbeds. Eared Grebes and Horned Grebes can be seen at very close range from the shore. Typical ducks are common and if water levels are favourable shorebirds such as Long-billed Dowitcher.
Llama Farm is located in the town of Tofield. The pond borders directly to the southeast of the small town. There is a parking lot at the edge of the pond and from there you have access to the pond. Click on the P in the map for directions to the car park.
