Plateau du Gerny is an area of open fields surrounded by bushes. црвена луња and црна луња are frequent. Annual observations of жолтоного блатарче, ливадска еја, полска трепетилка and sometimes сив жерав on the ground. Rare visiors that have been observed in the area are Richard's Pipit, црвеногушеста трепетилка, Pine Bunting, градинарска стрнарка, Snow Bunting, Пупунец, гаќест глувчар, степска еја, мал орел, Black-winged Kite and сина ветрушка.

You can visit the main part of Plateau du Gerny by car but the eastern part is forbidden for cars. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8 km.
