Description
The area is the last stronghold of грлица in the region. Every year there still are 5-6 territoria. Besides the грлица the region is nice for reedbirds with мустаклеста сипка and штурче трскарче as most important ones. црноопашна блатарка and голем српоклун свиркач are still surviving with some couples in the wetlands but are declining. Hopefully the future will bring bigger areas under nature conservation, it is urgently necessary. In winter it is a relevant staging area for geese, mostly белочелна гуска but every winter there are some Pink-footed Goose present.

Het gebied is het laatste bolwerk van грлица in de regio. Jaarlijks zijn er nog 5-6 territoria. Naast de грлица is de regio leuk voor rietvogels met мустаклеста сипка en штурче трскарче als belangrijkste. црноопашна блатарка en голем српоклун свиркач overleven nog steeds met enkele paartjes in de wetlands, maar nemen af. Hopelijk brengt de toekomst grotere gebieden onder natuurbehoud, dat is hard nodig. In de winter is het een relevante pleisterplaats voor ganzen, meestal белочелна гуска, maar elke winter zijn er enkele Pink-footed Goose aanwezig.

Access
On most places you can park the car wherever you want and start walking. The tour itself is best done on foot or by bike if you don't bother cycling on dirtroads.
