Description

Nimalaica is a well birded location with over 200 species recorded. Birds here include a range of migratory shorebirds (Long-toed Stint has often been recorded), waterfowl and other wetland birds as well as a good number of bush birds.

The site is best birded from the low dam along the access track.

From Broome, travel on Broome Road to reach the Broome-Cape Leveque Road; then north to Waterbank Road, then west to site. Press P on the map to access Google mapping.
