Urban park and nature reserve of 14.5 hectares that is rich in birds.
Reserva Natural Urbana de Morón has an area of 14.5 hectares with grasslands and open forest. Hiking trails run through the reserve and it is easy to explore the area on foot. Almost 120 bird species have been recorded. Among the birds you can encounter are Crested Caracara, Chimango Caracara, Guira Cuckoo, Gilded Hummingbird, Glittering-bellied Emerald, Green-barred Woodpecker, Checkered Woodpecker, Hooded Siskin, Rufous Hornero Grayish Baywing, Sooty-fronted Spinetail and Variable Oriole.
Reserva Natural Urbana de Morón is located at the intersection of Prudan and Arena streets, in Castelar Sur. Ways to get there: 1. By bus: from Morón and Castelar Station (south side) Buses: 238 branches Barrio Seré or Merlo Gómez through Blas Parera. 2. By bicycle you can access through the Stevenson and Santa María de Oro corridors. 3. On foot, from Ituzaingó Station (Sarmiento Line), along Mariano Acosta then take Coronel Arena Street to Prudan.
The park is open from Wednesday to Sunday, and on holidays, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.
