Descrizione
Watchet Beach is rocky and muddy and it attracts birds like Piovanello pancianera, Beccaccia di mare, Voltapietre, and the occasional Chiurlo maggiore. The best time is as the tide is retreating. I always go just after high tide. Sometimes you have to wait until tide retreats enough to access the beach, which is stone at the top with rock pools and mud exposed as the tide retreats.

This is not a reserve or formal birdwatching place, its just good in the autumn and winter although you still get a fair few (bird)visitors in the summer too.
