The beautiful cliff faces of this island form great locations for colonies of many different birds, including Gracchio corallino, Fulmaro, Gazza marina, Berta minore atlantica, Uria, Sula, Falco pellegrino and Gheppio, with grey seals populating some of the beaches. Many of these can be observed quite well from both the island itself or from the water. Other birds, such as Civetta and Culbianco, are also present on the island.
