Good spot for migrating waders, ducks, geese and warblers etc. Fantastic for the usual gulls, waterfowl, finches, owls and other raptors.
Being on the south coast it's often one of the first stop-offs for migrants and has been the site of the occasional treat like Merlo dal collare, Gabbiano reale, Gabbiano corallino and Falco pellegrino.
