The area arround Börringe is well known for being a hotspot to watch raptors. It is especially interesting during autumn migration when the birds are passing by, but now and then rare eagles spend the winter in the general area.
Park along the road and climb the steep hill. From the top you will have a good view of the area. Breeding birds are Nibbio reale, Nibbio bruno, Aquila di mare and Poiana. From August the migration starts, with September as its peak. During this period big numbers of Falco pecchiaiolo and Poiana can be seen migrating. More rare but regular is Albanella pallida and Aquila anatraia minore but also rarities such as Aquila anatraia maggiore, Biancone and Aquila imperiale and even once Avvoltoio monaco has been seen over the years.

Drive the E65, turn off of south at Havgårdsvägen, follow it 500 meters and park along the road. Click on the P in the map yo get directions. The road is quite narrow so make sure to give space for the traffic.
