In Muskmyr nature reserve birds of prey are often seen. Even rare ones like Falco cuculo in spring and summer. There is a bird observation tower from where you can search the sky above the horizon for Aquila di mare and Aquila reale. Falco di palude nest in the bog and Lodolaio are often seen catching dragonflies over the reeds. Along the hiking trail that leads around the bog there are many beautiful and special plants including a wide variety of orchids. Among the other birds you can see are Ciuffolotto scarlatto, Nibbio reale, Piviere dorato, Albanella reale, Gru, Stiaccino, Culbianco and Chiurlo maggiore.
