Missmyra is a small wetland in an otherwise forest-dominated part of the region. The large reedbeds hosts birds like Cannaiola, Porciglione and Falco di palude. Missmyra is also appreciated by waterfowl like Quattrocchi, Svasso cornuto, Mestolone and Alzavola. This attracts birds of prey such as Aquila di mare and Sparviere.
