Descrizione
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Corriere grosso and Corriere piccolo, 3 species of Cutrettola, countless Rondine rossiccia, as well as Rondine montana, Balestruccio, Topino and Rondine. Upupa can be seen in large numbers. Nibbio bianco hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Averla piccola, Codirosso spazzacamino, Codirosso, Balia nera, Pigliamosche, Averla meridionale, Passera sarda, 4 species of tits, Picchio rosso maggiore, Picchio rosso minore and Picchio verde. The Aquila imperiale iberica and Grifone breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Biancone, Aquila minore and Falco pescatore are also frequently seen, as are Nibbio bruno and Nibbio reale.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
