Descrizione
Parque Forestal Valdebebas - Felipe IV consists of a young forest of native vegetation, though an area to the south does have older trees. Most of the area is dominated by stone pines, which hold all of the common birds of the area. The park has several streams and and two small lakes. These attract birds such as Ballerina gialla, Pendolino, Porciglione (uncommon), Martin pescatore and sometimes Casarca. Some other ducks, like Canapiglia, might occasionally show up. Waders, such as Piro piro culbianco can also appear. There have been records of Occhione. During winter, the top part of the park is very good for Tordo sassello, with Cesena also being present. Some raptors like Avvoltoio monaco might fly over, but this isn't a good spot for them. Civetta is present, however, the park is closed at night, making other owl species sightings scarce. Gru might ocassionally fly over during winter.
