Labudovo Okno is the place where the agricultural plain of Deliblato meets the Danube river near the Romanian - Serbian border. Because of the building of Djerdap Dam, Danube has flooded surrounding Stevan’s Plains (Serbian: Stevanove ravnice) and made perfect habitat for gathering of birds. Here you can see all kinds of waterfowl species, mainly at winter time. Moriglione, Moretta, Quattrocchi, Moretta grigia and Svasso cornuto are regular species that gather at winter time. There are also quite many geese that gather here, mainly Oca selvatica and Oca lombardella.
During spring migration there are few species of gulls and terns, some other birds like Upupa, Aquila di mare, Folaga, Germano reale and Codone. During fall migration there are many small birds migrating through here, species like Grey-headed Wagtail (thunbergi), Canapino maggiore, Forapaglie comune, Cannaiola and Pigliamosche. Also there are migrating raptors like Falco pescatore and Falco pecchiaiolo.

Labudovo okno is only accessible by car. Getting there on foot is hard and you need to know environment. Always stick to established tracks and respect wildlife!
