You can observe waterfowl in the reserve from November to the end of March in the entourage of the Siberian winter, sometimes it is at a temperature of minus forty degrees and below. The main mass of birds is a Cigno selvatico and Germano reale. But you can also see Quattrocchi, Smergo maggiore, in small numbers there are Cigno reale and Cigno minore (americano). Numerous Merlo acquaiolo feed along the banks of ice-free streams. Here you can see Long-tailed Rosefinches, Cinciarella azzurra, Allocco degli Urali, Grey Bullfinch and other Siberian birds.
