Descrizione
It is a hilly area, with pieces of dense forest with a chance of seeing various woodpeckers. Other parts are open with thickets where Averla piccola, Calandro, Sterpazzola, Passera mattugia, Tottavilla, Saltimpalo, Averla cenerina and Cuculo can be seen. There are also sand walls where Gruccione nests. Along the rivers the Rigogolo sings, which can also be seen very well from the higher hills. The Upupa calls out loud and is especially visible on treetops. The Corvo imperiale is also active and several birds of prey patrol the area. Various bird species are also present in the reeds.

You can park at Valea Verde Resort. There you can ask for a map with walking routes. You can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner or book a room. The whole area can be done on foot. Keep an eye out for bear tracks and dominant sheepdogs.
