Pustnicu Forest is a big forest bordering the river Pasărea, a tributary of the river Danube. In the areas bordering the water, Cernica and Pustnicu, you can observe birds like Svasso maggiore, Mignattino alibianche, Folaga and Moretta tabaccata. In the forested parts you can see birds like Picchio rosso maggiore, Picchio rosso mezzano, Picchio verde, Cinciallegra, Ghiandaia and Picchio muratore.
