Accesso
The saltpans are situated in the saltmarshes. Once you've parked you can easily enter the area walking or cycling and explore every saltpan that is accessible (some are blocked or there is no way to access without getting kneedeep in the mud). In the northern ones you will find ducks such as the Volpoca, Germano reale and Canapiglia, whereas closer to the lagoon (sea side) you'll find more waders such as the Piovanello pancianera, Piovanello tridattilo, Piovanello comune, Fratino, Corriere grosso, Chiurlo piccolo and Cavaliere d'Italia. A bit further way from the access, to the east, it is very common to find groups of Fenicottero that allow bystanders to get quite close.
