Due to its location on a western cape that juts into the Atlantic Ocean Peniche is one of the best places in Portugal to watch seabird migration. The rocky coast of Peniche is beautiful in itself, but the hundreds of migratory birds make it even more beautiful. Probably the best place in all of Europe to see Berta maggiore. Some days thousands of Sula and Zafferano pass by. The surrounding area is also worth a visit. 308 bird species have already been observed.

A costa rochosa de Peniche é bela em si, mas as centenas de aves migratórias a tornam ainda mais bonita. Provavelmente o melhor lugar em toda a Europa para ver Berta maggiore. Alguns dias milhares de Sula e Zafferano passam. A área também merece uma visita. Já foram observadas 308 espécies de aves.
