Pedreira Cabo da Praia is an easily accessible location on the island of Terceira where a large number of different bird species occur. In autumn, more than 20 different species can be easily observed, many of which are of American origin. Among the birds you can encounter are Fischione americano, Pivieressa, Corriere semipalmato, Corriere grosso, Corriere vocifero, Totano zampegialle minore, Piovanello tridattilo, Gambecchio di Bonaparte, Piro piro fulvo, Limnodromo pettorossiccio and many more.
