Descrizione
The Divor reservoir and its surroundings are great for bird watching. Much of the area is underexplored. The main observation point on the north side is the dam, which allows observing the waters of the reservoir. But as this dam is quite busy with sportsmen and fishermen, the disturbance can be high, so the number of birds present is not always high. So it is also good to explore the other side of the reservoir. On the lake and around the margins you can see ducks, grebes, Fenicottero, herons and waders lake Piro piro piccolo and Pantana.
In the surrounding areas many birds can be seen. For example Zigolo nero, Strillozzo, Cuculo dal ciuffo, Gruccione, Upupa, Averla meridionale, Cappellaccia di Thekla, Cappellaccia, Allodola, Beccamoschino, Canapino comune and Occhiocotto. Also many birds of prey can be seen flying over the area. In summer you have a good chance on Nibbio bruno, Aquila minore and Grifone. In winter Albanella reale, Nibbio reale and Nibbio bianco. All year round you can see Poiana, Falco di palude and Gheppio. Albanella minore can bee seen mostly in August.
