Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of Gabbiano comune on the island, and Fraticello and Sterna comune also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Oca egiziana, Gheppio, Smergo maggiore, Cannareccione, Svasso piccolo and Ciuffolotto.
