Zajki Meadows is a very good spot for observing marsh species. All 3 marsh tern species ( Mignattino comune, Mignattino alibianche and Mignattino piombato) are present. Some warblers in nearby bushes. There is also a couple of pairs of Pittima reale around as well as plenty of Combattente and Piro piro boschereccio on the meadows in the spring. Various trushes and nightingales can be heard later in the day.

Access is restricted to the road. The meadows are in the National Park, further down there is also a trail you can take and possibly even hear some Croccolone.
Note that in dry periods the meadows can be completely dry and then there are far fewer birds to be seen and no terns.
