Fields, reeds and meadows. In the spring until around June (depending on the year) the meadow is flooded, one of the best places for ducks in the area. The best month for ducks is April or March, you can find there species such as: Mestolone, Canapiglia, Germano reale, Fischione, Marzaiola, Alzavola, Cigno reale. In some years (e.g. 2022) lots of Piro piro boschereccio, Combattente, Pettegola. In the summer, if there is some water left, then a lot of Oca selvatica and Gru with chicks. After July it is dry and quite empty. In the reeds you can hear Pettazzurro, Salciaiola and Cannareccione.
