A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (Picchio rosso maggiore, Picchio rosso minore, Picchio rosso di Siria, Picchio rosso mezzano, Picchio verde and Picchio nero) and also birds like Rigogolo, Prispolone, Cincia mora, Cincia dal ciuffo, Cincia bigia, Cincia alpestre and Frosone.
