The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Oca selvatica), Folaga and various species of ducks (including Orchetto marino and Orco marino), as well as Strolaga minore and Strolaga mezzana, Svasso maggiore, Svasso piccolo, Svasso cornuto and Pesciaiola winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see Aquila di mare, sometimes Falco pellegrino.

Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
