The entire coastline in Nord-Troms is attractive for birdwatching. For example, the coast of the island of Kågen. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, so it is easily accessible. Along this coast you can see many beautiful birds in spring. On a clear day with little wind you can continuously enjoy large groups of Edredone here on the coast. Here and there a Re degli edredoni, Volpoca, and Moretta codona. In addition you can observe birds like Uria, Uria nera, Smergo minore and regularly Aquila di mare.
Kågen lies between the Kvænangen fjord (to the east) and the Lyngen fjord to the west. Drive the coastal road in this region on a clear day with little wind and these birds are unmissable in early spring.
