The Zaans Rietveld is a small wet nature reserve that is ideal for dragonflies, water shrews and of course birds. You can see dozens of bird species here. Among others Beccaccia di mare, Pavoncella, Spatola, Fischione, Oca lombardella, Beccaccino, Tordo sassello and Volpoca.

Nederlands: Het Zaans Rietveld bestaat uit nat en bloemrijk grasland, sloten, rietland en langs de randen opgaande beplanting. Dit natte natuurgebiedje is ideaal voor libellen, waterspitsmuizen en natuurlijk vogels. Véél vogels, je kunt hier tientallen soorten zien. Onder meer Beccaccia di mare, Pavoncella, Spatola, Fischione, Oca lombardella, Beccaccino, Tordo sassello en Volpoca.
