The Yperenplas (also called Wilpse Plas) is an easy accessible birding place near the city of Deventer. It offers a wide view on the typical IJssel valley, with a good chance of special species on the lake and in the surroundings. Among the birds you can see here are Oca selvatica, Falco pescatore, Culbianco, Gavina, Mestolone, Canapiglia, Fischione, Spatola, Gabbiano comune, Oca facciabianca and Gheppio. Rarities that have been seen here are Moretta tabaccata, Strolaga minore and Cavaliere d'Italia.

Nederlands: De Yperenplas (ook wel Wilpse Plas genoemd) is een goed bereikbare vogelplek nabij Deventer. Het biedt een weids uitzicht over de typische IJsselvallei, met een goede kans op bijzondere soorten op het meer en in de omgeving.
