Beautiful varied walking route around Vrachelse Heide and De Moeren. The Vrachelse Heide is a beautiful nature reserve surrounded by forest, heathland and old farms. You walk through the drifting sand in the Linie van de Munnikenhof nature reserve. Due to the drifting sand, this walk can be quite difficult. There are various marked walking routes. During this walk you can spot various forest birds such as Picchio nero, Cincia dal ciuffo, Frosone, Regolo, Picchio muratore and Cincia alpestre.

Nederlands: Een rondje Vrachelse Heide en De Moeren is een mooie gevarieerde wandelroute op de Brabantse zandgronden in Oosterhout. De Vrachelse Heide is een mooi natuurgebied omringd door bos, heide en oude boerderijen. Je wandelt door het stuifzand in natuurgebied Linie van de Munnikenhof. Wegens het stuifzand kan deze wandeling redelijk zwaar zijn. Er zijn diverse gemarkeerde wandelroutes uitgezet. Tijdens deze tocht kan je verschillende bosvogels zien zoals Picchio nero, Cincia dal ciuffo, Frosone, Regolo, Picchio muratore en Cincia alpestre.

The Vrachelse Heide is located southwest of the town of Oosterhout. You can start at Brasserie Woods (Veekestraat 19, 4904 TE Oosterhout). Park in the parking lot or in the vicinity of Brasserie Woods. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. You can also start at Landgoed Bergvliet (Salesdreef 2, 4904 SW Oosterhout).
The walk can be extended with the one of the Lage Vuchtpolder and is then approximately 15 km long. This is the walk that is shown on the map. This walk then goes through different biotopes you can then spot both meadow birds and typical forest birds. But the walk can also easily be shortened to a shorter walk.

Nederlands: De Vrachelse Heide ligt ten zuidwesten van Oosterhout. Je kunt starten bij Brasserie Woods (Veekestraat 19, 4904 TE Oosterhout). Parkeren op de parkeerplaats of in de omgeving van Brasserie Woods. Druk op P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar de parkeerplaats. Je kunt ook starten bij Landgoed Bergvliet (Salesdreef 2, 4904 SW Oosterhout).
De wandeling nog kan worden uitgebreid met deze van de Lage Vuchtpolder en is dan ongeveer 15 km lang. Dit is de wandeling die is weergegeven op de kaart.
