The Toolenburgerplas is an artificial lake located in a nature and recreation area of over 85 hectares. It consists of a park area, a nature reserve and an area for shore and water recreation that is popular with surfers and divers. The walking path around the lake is about 4 km long. Because it is a large lake surrounded by trees and shrubs, both waterfowl and forest birds can be seen. Always a surprise what's there. Among the birds you can see here are Topino. Gabbianello, Porciglione and Martin pescatore.

Nederlands: De Toolenburgerplas is een kunstmatig meer dat ligt in een natuur- en recreatiegebied van ruim 85 hectare. Het bestaat uit een parkgebied, een natuurgebied en een gebied voor oever- en waterrecreatie dat populair is bij surfers en duikers. Het wandelpad rondom de plas is ongeveer 4 km lang. Omdat het een grote plas is met daar omheen bomen en struiken zijn er zowel watervogels als bosvogels te zien. Altijd wel een verrassing wat er zit.

Large recreational lake. Easily accessible by car. Plenty of parking space. The lake circular walk is 4 km, nice round to do on foot (also possible with mobility scooter / wheelchair). All-round asphalted path, easily passable. The Topino wall is a must to view.

Nederlands: Grote recreatieplas; goed te bereiken met de auto. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De plas rond is 4 km, mooi rondje om lopend te doen (ook met scootmobiel /rolstoel mogelijk). Rondom geasfalteerd pad, goed begaanbaar. De oeverzwaluw wand is een aanrader om te bekijken.
