The Stelkampsveld is a beautiful and varied area. The crown jewel of the Stelkampsveld is the moist grassland with many rare plant species. It is a nice area with many different bird species where you can take a nice walk. Birds you may encounter in the area include Zigolo giallo, Tottavilla, Prispolone, Averla piccola, Saltimpalo, Pavoncella, Ciuffolotto, Codirosso, Beccafico and various species of woodpeckers, ducks, geese and herons.

Nederlands: Het Stelkampsveld is een mooi en afwisselend gebied van essen, graslanden, houtwallen, bosjes en heiden met vennen. Het is tezamen met direct aansluitende percelen, een 102 hectare groot beschermd Natura 2000 gebied. Het kroonjuweel van het Stelkampsveld is het vochtige grasland met veel zeldzame plantensoorten, zoals klokjesgentiaan, parnassia en wolfsklauwmos. Het is een leuk gebiedje met veel verschillende vogelsoorten waar je een mooie wandeling kan maken. Vogels die je in het gebied kunt tegenkomen zijn onder meer Zigolo giallo, Tottavilla, Prispolone, Averla piccola, Saltimpalo, Pavoncella, Ciuffolotto, Codirosso, Beccafico en diverse soorten spechten, eenden, ganzen en reigers.

The Stelkampsveld is located between the villages of Barchem and Borculo. Parking is possible north of the area at the Beekvliet car park. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. A circular walk around the Stelkampsveld is approximately 3,5 km.
